Te Reo Workshops

Today was our last day with Whaea Wiki and the amazing students from Waverley Park school. We have been very fortunate to have them come in and take Te Reo Workshops on a Friday morning. We have learnt a new Waiata, Games and practised our pronunciation of Maori words. Including our school classroom teams. We look forward to continuing this next year and sharing our knowledge with the rest of the school.
Kawaka students took on the Wero (challenge) of saying the longest name of a hill located close to Porangahau, in the southern Hawkes Bay. They challenged Waverley students and got very close to their fastest time. Mahi Pai Team. You made MBS proud. Try giving it a go :)
